What symptoms did you experience during the onset of your schizophrenia? I primarily dissociated.
a lot of paranoia and hallucinations mainly. also a lot of nightmares
I kept hearing my name being called but there would be no one around. That changed into just hearing random mumbles and screams. Eventually dark light flickers began and the shadow people began to check in on me. Just kinda kept adding onto itself from there.
I became very depressed. Withdrew from my friends, spent most of my days hiding in bed. I felt like I was falling, or something. Not literally but my mind didn’t feel like it used to. My internal world was different. I remember walking past people and seeing their faces distort, and thinking photos of people would come out of the image and hurt me. I didn’t know what was going on but I felt very lost.
I'm sorry you were made to experience that. You handled it better than i would have been able to.
